Perhaps BW Legal are actually starting to follow the new Code of Practice and not including the fake add ons. And then again maybe offering the reduced payment of £100 is a sign that they are not that confident in their case and may actually cancel their claim if you submit a robust witness statement.
Don't be too surprised if you keep receiving letters telling you they are confident in their claim and suggesting even higher costs should the case continue. This is often the game they play.3
