I have just printed off the template for the defence, and putting my own words into it. Am I able to show anyone a copy of this to make sure it is ok? and would should this be sent? Thank you

Just checking  -  you did NOT put anything in the Defence box when completing the AOS  -  not even a full stop?

Please read the template defence thread first post that tells you all this.

No I didn't put anything in the defence box, I went through the template thread and followed it carefully! I just completed the AOS with name, address and ticked I intend to defend all of this claim.

With a Claim Issue Date of 25th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 29th December 2021 to file your Defence.

That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

With the Defence, I have printed off the thread with the what to do next guidance, and have copied the defence template. I will adjust #2 #3 as mentioned on the thread, but I am not sure about my wording, would someone be able to check this for me once I have done it?

You really should read other defence and claim threads, and you'd know it's perfectly normal for everyone to show their proposed paras 2 and 3.  Reading other threads around this week (any talking about defences) will give you so much more confidence that you are on the right track and are not alone.
