Transfer time to iWeb

I wanted to transfer my ISA to iWeb and so I rang them to ask how long it would take. They told me it would take 15 weeks. Is that the average time for transfers? I can't understand why it should take that long?
Has anyone transferred their ISA recently and how long has it taken?
Thank you in advance.

That sounds optimistic. The record so far is 8 months. See https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6281939/iweb-isa-transfer-in-2months-and-countingThings seem to have tumbled downhill at the start of this year and so far have not recovered.0

Wow! I thought I was unlucky that my transfer of SIPP from Vanguard to Interactive Investor took 4 months. After a while I started ringing up every week to see what was happening, and to check whether anything had gone wrong (again). I think it would have taken even longer if I hadn't done that.
Soon I'll be transferring my ISA too, and I was hoping that would be much quicker (especially if I make it cash only) as they say it can be an electronic transfer. Am I being too optimistic?
I wish I'd picked the right platform in the first place. I thought I'd be satisfied with Vanguard's limited selection of investments. But as I learned more about investing I realised I wanted more choice.0 -
If you are transferring to Interactive Investor then you shouldn't be waiting as long as those long suffering iWeb users. It will probably be quicker than your SIPP transfer.tichtich said:masonic said:That sounds optimistic. The record so far is 8 months.
