Morning all, what a terrible day here, not much wind but lashing rain and it feels even colder brrrrr !I had my flu jab yesterday, in and straight out with hardly stopping in between, blink and I'd have missed it 😂 No queuing outside either ! I didn't sleep very well at all last night and kept forgetting that I had a sore arm and I wanted to lie on that side, my arm is still a bit sore today too. I did drop off at one point to wake in a diagonal position across the bed, good job Mr Fix It is an early bird and had already risen or he would have been moaning at me to move over 😁 I kept dreaming about placing buckets of flowers everywhere and there wasn't enough room for them all, seemed more a nightmare than dream.I was going to start on some painting today but I've lost my mojo somewhere so it'll wait till tomorrow. Someone mentioned shepherds pie yesterday and it sounded so good that I'm making one today, sadly have the wrong type of mince so it will have to be a cottage pie. There are some apples in the fruit bowl that really need eating up too so I shall stew them along with some of my blackberries and make a crumble to have hot with custard mmmmm 🤤 Proper stodgy food for tea today but it feels just like the middle of winter anyway.TA hope your day is full of happy memories. Many hugs my friend 🧡Gers hope your jab goes well and you have no after effects. I think I'll add my extra quilt on Saturday when I change the bedding, mine has very strong velcro fastenings.Dumpling you missed the bullet there with covid at the party. I hope your family have a mild dose and get well soon.Snoozer grrr to the surgery, hope you can have better luck tomorrow.Sorry to those I have forgotten, my memory is getting worse. Now where am I and what am I doing here ?Hugs to all, take care stay safe and dry if you can.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12

taff, that was for a telephone appointment, they triage everyone over the phone before they decide if they need to be seen. I think it's a good idea but they open the lines at 8.00 and I rang at 10 past so there isn't a great window for getting even a telephone appointment.10

snoozer, I'd ring back and badger them until they said yes because that's how annoying I am. Actually, I'd be that badgery if I was really worried...Or there's 111?Nanny, you weren't wrong. I was coming back down the hill and the manhole cover halfway down the hill was spouting water everywhere it's been raining so hard. I've decided discretion is the better part of valour, the guy has been and filled his van, made hardly a dent in the stuff there, and it's just too horrible for me to fill the car for the tip but I have manhandled an old gas fire outside for the scrappy if he wants it. I am going to read and drink tea for the rest of the day in front of my sisters coal fire. And I managed to drop off a bag of stuff to the cs that had been in my car for over a week.Definitely dodged a bullet dumpling....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi10
