For anybody who decided not to stay with Shell as the SoLR for Green & moved to another supplier instead  ...

Yesterday I received a link inviting me to create an online Shell account

This was despite me already having received a correct refund cheque from Shell from my final Green balance a couple of months ago so such an account is un-needed

Also in my case I was never with Shell as I moved away from Green a few days before they went bust

Has this happened to anybody else ?

Is anyone else still waiting for Shell to refund them credit from Green Energy?
I switched proider, so don't have an account with Shell, but they still owe me the Green Credit.

How long further is reasonable to wait before complaining?

You should have had it by now. I would contact Shell and ask them. They were dealing with all refunds regardless of whether or not you had energy provided by them.
  • Just to say I had the same problem (received a final bill from Green Energy showing a £600+ credit balance; heard nothing from Shell Energy).

I tried to resolve it via phone a couple of times but got nowhere - just excuses that 'we haven't been sent the money yet', it was out of their hands etc.

After seeing advice here I reached out to them via Twitter and got a refund cheque in the post within days.
