Return at end of Lease Charge for missing service book

Not sure if that's supposed to be a sly dig at me? 🤷♀️ (As you quoted someone who quoted me). If it is - nowhere have I made any indication of not understanding. My post was not about not reading the T&Cs - it was that just because it's in the T&Cs doesn't mean it is enforceable. 🙄sheslookinhot said:

Lease Co: You must sacrifice your first born child to Baal
Driver: Ha ha ha - funny one
Lease Co: Erm, check your lease T&Cs sir!
Over the years I have come across many cases where simply having a quick look at the T&Cs would have saved a lot of grief. If they say they want the book then you make sure they get it or accept the penalty.
(And for the avoidance of doubt - I am not saying that requiring the service book at the end of lease is an unfair term).Jenni x0
