No deals available in my area

Despite searching and religiously scanning Martin's Broadband deals we cannot get a supplier to offer anything near what Martin says is available. We realise not all offers are available everywhere but why are we in my post code IV21 2BX being penalised.

Who is your current supplier ??
I can see deals but no idea what martin is saying nor where he says it .
Nor even sure what site Martins Broadband is ,Ps Martin sold this site many years ago .
No supplier has to offer deals to all .
  • Current supplier is John Lewis broadband.
Deals are shown on Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert site.
I am aware suppliers do not have to offer deals.
There are lots of deals out there but none that offer anything better than we already have for our area.

That could be true in the recent past prices have risen .
No idea what service you have nor price .
But i see via that site deals starting from £14.50 pm for your postcode .
Try other comparisons sites as well .
JL are just a resold Plusnet service . may be worth checking with PN .

Probably largely to do with your rural location in the Highlands. It seems only Sky and BT Wholesale based FTTC services are available where you live, ie no TalkTalk, Vodafone etc. So John Lewis or Plusnet is about the cheapest you will get I'm afraid. Though worth having a look at cashback sites such as Quidco or Topcashback to see if what (if any) cashback they offer if you go with BT or Sky.

Vodafone don't offer anything in the OPs area, probably because they haven't unbundled the nearest head end exchange. Ditto for TalkTalk. OP needs to check availability directly on ISP websites, the likes of Uswitch simply churn out generic results.

Vodafone are listed via USwitch  at that post code  63 meg . . OP would need to check with actual address

Uswitch is giving incorrect results for that postcode as no properties in that postcode can receive a Vodafone service if you check directly on Vodafone's website. Suppliers websites will be more accurate that comparison sites such as Uswitch.
  • Thanks for your help guys. Guess I will just have to bite the bullet meantime

If you install a WiFi scanner app on your phone you could walk around your neighbourhood to pick up the WiFi signals from each house to see which providers people near to you actually use.
