Eskbanker posted the link to Investec, I found an instant access account paying 0.58% and saw it had a minimum balance requirement of £5k and posted my reservations.
It is currently available and whatever it is called it was a valid post by Malchester .2 -

Just a reminder of this account, note the withdrawal limit of three times only per year.

You have to go to branch to open it now (I opened mine online before) but they are only in Wales it seems, I thought they used to have a London and other UK branches! Oh well it might help someone in Wales! It says you can also open it at an agency whatever that is.£1 - £2,5000.80%£2,501 - £7,5001.00%£7,500 - £25,0001.50%0 -

Wonderful certainly a very good account then if you have over 7.5K and can leave it in the account. Three withdrawals a year is enough for the odd emergency.kaMelo said:Deleted_User said:Just a reminder of this account, note the withdrawal limit of three times only per year.

I don't suppose they can but unlike other similar accounts their t&c's require it and you have to make a declaration that you are a FTB.castle96 said:https://www.principality.co.uk/en/savings-accounts/everyday-savings-accounts/First-Home-Steps-Online
how can they tell if you lie and are not a FTB ????0
