Is it ok to go travelling?

My personal view would be:
a) Depends what you mean by safe. If you are both double jabbed, don't have any existing health conditions, behave sensibly and avoid anywhere with high infection rates, your risk of getting ill and spreading infection is probably tolerable. Bigger worry might be if things change and you have to change plans at last minute, factor in unexpected costs, or get stuck having to quarantine somewhere after a positive test - so you need to factor that into your plans.
b) morally right - again, as long as you behave sensibly I don't see any moral issues. Sure there are those out there who feel like anyone who so much as steps outside of their home to do something non-essential is some kind of morally bankrupt a**-hole, but do you really care what they think? In my view, if we can't start getting out and doing the things that make life worth living again, then what were the last eighteen months even for? Be cautious and considerate, but if this is a good time to travel, and it is important to you, go for it!
c) As fun - depends what you want to do. In some places it might actually be more fun as Covid will have thinned out the crowds a bit and give you more breathing space at tourist destinations. If you're into outdoorsy activities it won't make a great deal of difference (except maybe to your transport). Most things have opened back up now in most countries, but if you have your heart set on something in particular it's worth checking and double checking that whatever it is is open and whether they have any restrictions in place.1 -

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1
