Paint/add enamel to inside of oven?

Our grill was turned on by mistake with the door closed and it melted the handle onto the bottom of the oven. It came off easy enough once cooled and we can get a replacement handle but the shiny black coating has come off it too (on the inside).
Can you repaint the inside of the oven? When I search Amazon the only heat resistant paints that show are for stoves and BBQs and none specifically say you can use them on the inside of the oven. Is this something that can't be done outside of the factory?
I'm not too bothered by it aesthetically although if there was an easy fix I'd take it. What difference does it make to have a patch without the shiny finish on it? Is it mainly to prevent things sticking to it? I.e. it's perfectly safe without it.
Thanks.

Might be easier for gunge to stick to the non shiny patch ?
Just put one of those oven silicon sheets in the bottom of the oven - easier to clean all round then

Ah, great idea, thanks Bob. I did think it would be mainly that things will stick easier.
