Thats a shame,  I have found a place close to home in St. Leonards on sea where approved PCR tests are £1.75.  You collect the test from them by appointment and take it home to take the sample.   Can't stockpile there either appointments available during the next 21 days rolling only.

Strange website - says "you must collect" but doesn't say where they are!!!
No link to their homepage either!

This is starting to look a bit like a scam,  123 tests appear to have changed the name to outcomedx.  The trustpilot reviews for both are terrible all 1* avoid  with few scattered postives that are suspiciously similar in format.  I collected a test this morning and am now waiting for an order number for the PLF to be sent by email.   A position many of the trustpilot reviewers never escaped from.

Has anyone else used either 123 or outcomedx with success?

I just checked the gvt list for the new lateral flow test starting at £19. I did notice there were a couple of PCR test providers listed at around £2.

This does work but is overcomplicated. When I ordered I got a pick up appointment email. Only when the test has been collected do they sent order confirmation and order number emails.

You need to use the numbers on these to first request the booking reference for the passenger locator and then  register the kit for use.

It's not worth the effort unless you can get a kit for £1.75.

  • Im in need of a PCR test that is administered by the testing company (so no self test) how can i find one near me that is UKAS approved?
