Morning allRaining today, but managed to get the dog out for a short walk before it started. Pleased that the washing dried outside yesterday! Other things today:Home grown berries for breakfast - they are coming to an end, and I will miss them when they are finished!Listed a big item on Marketplace. Not sure if it will sell there as it is a bit specialist, but worth a try before listing on ebay with its huge fees!OH helped me prep a carrier bagful of gifted apples. Now cooked down ready for a crumble (and will freeze the rest when cold)Made a loaf in the BMDD muttered about coing round with the kids today, but as yet no sign - so far all quietGot some cubed turkey meat out of the freezer to make a big pot of sweet and sour later. No plans for spending today.2

well my small thing today is doing something i started doing a few months back when decided to get to grips with the credit cards. The first weekend of every month i log into every bank account, credit card etc online and complete two balance sheets, one with all my debts and on with all my current account balances so can see the changes month to month and keeps my eyes open on what progress is/isnt being made. That way i know to the penny how much is on all my credit cards.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..3

Evening all
I am about just not had chance to post!
Well done @jadewest94 on the new job! Don't evny your tiredness for 2 days a week.
Today has not been brilliant, popped out for a few bits ended up spending nearly £50 but £10 was for my mom wilko are selling off the summer bits and got fence paint, slab cleaner (£22 in homebase £3 in wilko) i checked in store and its needed as the jet wash doesn't seem to get it all. Been 8 years in the waiting for me to get it. Feel bad but they are things i will need for next summer so got it now whilst i could and trimmed £20 off last weeks shopping hoping to do it again this week. No more spending now unless on food.
Tomorrow's plans
Take dd to club £1 charge will take snacks
Need to do a shopping list and meal plan and get some food for the week. Tbh mainly lunch foods, fruit and a couple of meals as i have some meals in the freezer or at least half of a meal
Ironing uniforms for the week.
I sorted 2 bags of clothes for cs today so they can be taken tomorrow hopefully not anything worth selling tbh just random bits. Need to sort ohs wardrobe out and can sell some of his decent stuff.
All meals from stores.
Thats about it atm not much going on here this week.
Take care all3 -
Afternoon allNot feeling very motivated today, but I have / will:Heating off, and will stay off for now. May light the stove again tonight if it is cold.Dog walk (done, though he wouldn't go far)Used hot water in flasks (from the kettles on the wood stove last evening) for washing up and kitchen clean this morningPicked last of the French beans and composted the plantsOH picked loads of courgettesPicked a few raspberries and 4 beetrootFroze the chillis that I picked the other dayWatered the basil and aubergine plants that are still surviving in the greenhouseEmailed energy company as my statement is showing no payment made on 1 October. My bank begs to differ. The bot help thing on their app (which isn't much help but usually gets a call back) isn't working at all. Hmm, wonder if they are about to go under?? I will be keeping a close eye!Done an Icyland orderLunch will be HM soup from the fridgeDinner will be more of the turkey sweet and sour thing that I made last night, with a jacket potato and more vegetables on the side.2

Haha thanks @Chopchop55 I'm sure once I'm in a routine it won't be as bad
I've not left the house all weekend, so slowly going insane but I've also not spent any money!
Not got a lot to do, I've made Nutella welsh cakes and now having a cuppa. Going to walk Django later on this evening.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards.
