Do a chargeback from your bank. The T&C's should tell you how to stop auto renewal (haven't checked but they usually do)
If they have followed the rules and you missed it then the chargeback will probably fail or they could take legal action. But do it anyway and you can take it from there.0 -
stepway said:Beware! Elite use an autorenewal. They will not remind you when this is coming up and will simply charge you for the full £192.00! Trying to navigate the site to cancel your subscription or stop the autorenewal will send you round and round in circles and when you finally lose patience and find the customer care contact form which is in itself a feat, they do not respond. I've worked with computers for the last 30 years. This website in my personal opinion seems to be designed purely to make it difficult for people to get out of once they're in. They also have a very bad feedback on trustpilot. Wonder why!1

Unless they have cancelled prior to the funds being taken. Clearly the OP has not. Proof will be required of cancelation.
But certainly contact their bank & get the CPA blocked going forward... DO NOT fall into the trap of thinking getting a replacement card will work... It does not...Life in the slow lane0 -

and get proof of posting, you would then have valid grounds for a chargeback should any further payments be taken.0 -
Auto renewal is covered in their T+C's, sorry but its your mistake. I had a similar issue with a well being app, couldn't cancel due to app problems. So I emailed customer services thankfully before the renewal and although they took the payment, as I was able to prove I emailed you prior to this, explained the situation ect they were happy to provide a full refund.
Anyways here their T+Cs.3. Terms of Payment
(a) EliteSingles Singapore shall operate and process In-App payments via the iTunes Store. As such, all payments are beholden to the Terms & Conditions rendered by Apple Inc. and the iTunes Store.
(b) Paid In-App subscriptions are non-refundable.
(c) In-App subscriptions will be automatically renewed for the applicable duration that has been initially selected.
(d) Your account shall be charged no more than 24-hours prior to the expiry of the current subscription period.
(e) You may cancel your subscription by selecting Manage App Subscriptions in your iTunes Account and selecting the subscription you wish to modify.

Sounds like you shouldn't be on "Elite" singles if you struggle to navigate a website... it's a good thing you looking to cancel-1 -
Hi there, I cancelled my membership through the app and it did not work. I was surprised to see over £150 taken from my bank as part of the auto renewal. I contacted ELITESINGLES on the day this happened to say that I had attempted to cancel my membership and I was shocked to see it was still open they denied my request saying that I could not prove that I tried to cancel my membership. I spoke to my bank who retrieved the money through direct debit guarantee. ELITESINGLES and are chasing me through the collections department Anna threatening me with debt recovery and charges saying that I’m in breach of contract despite me contacting Customer Services several times to say that I had attempted to cancel my membership and that their app is faulty. Going on trust pilot and other forms I can see that this is an issue for a lot of people and they’ve been threatened but I wonder whether they actually follow through with this and it affects your credit rating. Considering just paying them off however they are absolute scammers and I am furious about this Does anybody have any feedback and success with this issue.0

Let them take you to through the small claims procedure. Put your case to the judge and the judge will make a decision based on what you and they say.
Highly unlikely.it will happen anyway.0
