Is my house still registered?

Hi I own my house and have the title deeds and all paperwork which was given to me when I paid off my mortgage.
I am going to sell the house but not sure if it's still registered with Land Registry. The photo is what comes up when I put my address in.
I don't want a sale delayed if I can do something myself if need be to quicken the process.
Can someone out advise me? Thanks

    Why would it become unregistered?

You could pay the £3.00 to find out if your name is still on the title if that's what you are worried about?

Yes, it's registered, it's just that the Land Registry doesn't have the price you paid recorded for it (I think they only started collecting that data in 1995). It could be that it went onto the electronic register as part of the process of paying off your mortgage - I think that's what happened with my parents property.
Even if it hadn't been registered, I don't believe it would delay the sale as you have all the title deeds, and the purchaser's solicitor could therfore deal with the registration after competion.

The screen shot you've posted literally says they have a registered title for that address - otherwise how could they sell you a copy of the title register?

Yes, your house is registered - there is a tick box for you to buy  copies of the title documents.

What it doesn't have it a record of what the price you paid for it was.
Which is irrelevant to selling the house, and which you presumably know in any event.,

  • Thanks for all the replies. I asked a question in another part of the forum and someone said if I have the title deeds etc it mightn't be registered. Another person also said the same when I posted the photo.
  • Clearly it is registered or the LR would not be offering the Registered Title and Plan.
If you want to know if it's registered in your name, pay £3 and buy the Title.
Which year did you pay off the mortgage? Unless it was 4+ decades ago it would have had to be registered at that time if it wasn't already.
Paper deeds? They don't just magically disintegrate (though the LR don't tend to return them after 1st registration).
