I had a card with one of my Tesco accounts, never used it though. If I wanted to use the money it would get transferred to my current account a month later to cover the spend on my credit card. It is most likely that the number of people withdrawing cash from savings accounts is minimal so the costs of providing the service is disproportionately high.I also remember that when using a Santander cash machine with my current account card I could select to withdraw from a savings account.Just found my last cash withdrawal from my current account - £20 on 11th August !0
