Avro. Yikes.!!! I'm in the middle of changing to Avro

Hi all. About a week ago I started to switch from Igloo to Avro. I am still within the 14 day period where I can cancel and revert back to Igloo. ( Igloo have informed me they have cancelled my direct debit) Any ideas? Should I cancel and revert to Igloo or proceed with the change and await Ofcom reassigning my account to another supplier. Just wonder If I will end up in "No- Mans land"  My inclination is to cancel the Avro. Thanks

This is a question better suited for the energy board

By what I've read I think Igloo could be the next to go...

Oh dear, I am with Avro.., thank you for posting.  I missed they were going bust as well as the other companies.  Good bye to my Warm Home discount I suppose as well as more expensive prices.  I was thinking early yesterday i was safe til April (when my present fixed price was to end).

So you have done me a favour even if the wrong board lol.

Just wait the switch out. See what new supplier you have and see what they offer then you are free to switch again.

Clearly 'a week ago' is within the 14 day cancellation period!

    If you do nothing either
    * Avro will reject the switch as they are no longer in business or
    * the switch will go through and you'll then be transferred to whichever company takes over Avro.
No, you won't end up in "No-Mans land" though it may take some time to settle down.
As Mary says, Igloo may be next....

Personally I'd go back to Igloo. There's going to be thousands of people being transferred from these insolvent companies to new companies and it could take months of being stuck on a high tarriff with your new deemed supplier before you get the chance to move to a supplier of your choice.
