Parking Ticket (UKPC)

Oops, sorry for my unsound advice. In my defence ........... I have no defence; I've sent myself for extra training!Coupon-mad said:
No it wasn't. Sounds like they followed the right process of the tactic of appealing as keeper on day 25 and hoping to get past or near day 56 without a NTK arriving.Le_Kirk said:
Why did you appeal in someone else's name? If you received a windscreen ticket it was for the driver to appeal in their name or to wait for the NTK and for the keeper to appeal as non-driver.Adka12 said:Yes, I did an appeal in the name of the registered keeper. And yes, I did receive a windscreen ticket. I was with my friend who lived next to that parking (high street Sutton) and helping her with shopping bags so the car didn't stay there long and also she said her other friends were parking there and that was fine, that is why I left the car there just for few moments.2 -

Show it to us, if they do (minus your personal details but not covering any dates on the letter).Adka12 said:Thanks. What if it will be posted?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello. So I finally got the response from them saying:"Thank you for your recent correspondence in relation to the above parking charge. To assist us in making a decision regarding your appeal, please confirm the full name and address of the driver to our Appeals Department within seven days of the date of this letter. This information may be confirmed by submitting another appeal on our website at www.ukpcappeals.co.uk, or by post to the address overleaf. Please ensure that if writing to us by post that you include the parking charge reference number and vehicle registration.Failure to provide this information will give us no alternative other than to make our final decision based on the previous information received. At this stage a POPLA verification code will be provided. The parking charge has been on hold whilst under appeal and may be settled in full at the reduced rate of £60."
Should I write back to them with anything?
Also, the keeper of the vehicle didn't get ANY NTK and 56 days from the Windscreen ticket have passed today.0 -
They cannot compel you to divulge the driver's name. If it is UK Parking Control Limited (UKPC) then complain to the BPA that they are not dealing with your appeal and are requiring you to give up the driver's name, something which you are not required to do.1

Yes but no need to do anything now. Wait for them to either cancel or send a POPLA code.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you guys a lot. I will then don't do anything and wait for their response. In the meantime, I will complain to BPA.0

I suggest you wait until you are past day 56 before you complain to the BPA. You don't want them tipping UKPC off that they have failed to send a NTK.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Hello again!I just want to let you know, that I got a POPLA code from UKPC and made an appeal. By looking at other posts relating to my issue I wrote good arguments enough to WIN the appeal. Just got an email from them and the decision is successful.
Thank you so much for your help!!!!2
