Club Lloyds Account

Maybe they couldn't negotiate a decent discount.anotheruser said:
Still surprises me why they don't offer magazines from Bauer Media - a heap of choice there.0 -
How long does it take for Lloyds to get back to you after submitting your ID and selfie online? Starting to wish I'd had a shave before taking the selfie! I applied for a Club Lloyds account (never had a Lloyds account before). Also applied to switch.
Thank you

I applied for a switch last year, took about a week to fully open the account,
Usually once submitted id it takes about a day or to for them to get back to you1 -
This is normal. LBG tend to payout once the switch is confirmed. I don't think a CASS full switch can be stopped once it has been initiated, but if it was somehow I expect they'd want their £100 back.[Deleted User] said:Hi. I opened a Club Lloyds account a couple of weeks ago and switched an old account into it, with a switch date of 19 Oct. I was a bit surprised this morning to discover that Lloyds have already paid me the £100 switch incentive on 14 October, 5 days before switch day. I thought the completion of the full switch was a condition to get the incentive? Or maybe this is some sort of mistake.2 -
Happy to report I have now opened my 6th Lloyds Club current account. The small interest and cinema tickets come in very handy.
Also for me there appears to be no limit on how many I can hold.0 -
It seems mine was. Lloyds sent me a letter on 6th this month that they cannot proceed with switch and to ask Santander the reason for it. Next day, I received a letter from Santander, dated 5th Oct saying they feel sorry that I am leaving but can feel free to come back to them. My switch was supposed to end on 12th Oct. I still have a Lloyds and a Santander account and those £100 still in Lloyds account.WillPS said:

Only time will tell if and when they will get the £100 back.0 -
It can be stopped (i.e.old account kept open) up to the working day before but all the payments will have been setup on the new account by then.WillPS said:

I hope it's not too late but I suggest you contact them. I had started my switch on the 8th, submitted ID and selfie online. Heard nothing back. On the 14th I called them to ask what was going on. They said somehow the files were never uploaded and there was no way to reset the procedure so I was only left with going to the branch. I did on the 16th, gave my documents and asked to continue my switch, obviously that meant that it was going to start and finish later than expected. Waited. Nothing. Called again today. They said the account was opened but the switch hadn't started. I asked why. "These things just happen you know". Appalling to say the least. Today was the last bonus day so if I hadn't called I would have maybe lost the bonus... even though it was initially supposed to be done and completed by today.explorerm said:How long does it take for Lloyds to get back to you after submitting your ID and selfie online? I feel that Lloyds Bank have lost the plot these days.I've been with them for decades and all was really good until the last few months and now it's so bad I am seriously thinking of leaving.Their answer to everything seems to be 'we'll raise a complaint and get back to you sometime in the future'.All I want is some action!I've raised the same query/complaint with them several times now and absolutely NO PROGRESS at all.Fraid I would not recommend them to anyone at the moment.0
