    Family member (Defendant) is in the process of moving house and sent a Data Rectification Notice to Claimant and CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk on 18th. Jan.  Auto response confirmed receipt and advised they are very busy at the moment.
    DRN also sent to Claimant (VCS) and confirmation of receipt from Excel has been received.
    Defence was Emailed to CCBC on Monday 24th but there was no Auto response. Defence deadline is 4pm 31st January.
    Any suggestions on next course of action would be much appreciated.

    Was the defence sent during working hours and was it sent using a Gmail address?  We have had reports that both of those scenarios can lead to failure.

    Thanks for responding Le Kirk...the defence was sent @ 15.58 from an iCloud account.

    @Router66 what does the MCOL filing history say? If in doubt send it again, during their office hours (9-4) and preferably from a non-Gmail account. (It's easy to setup an Outlook or Yahoo account).

    Thanks Jenni...no problem with re-sending today; is an iCloud A/ct. acceptable? 
    No updates on MCOL; is it worth mentioning in the email that this is a resend of the 15.58 email sent 24th Jan?
    And perhaps also mention that there is a Data Rectification Notice in the system that has not yet been updated.

    Yes and yes, and repeat the correct address for service so they don't have to go looking.

    Thanks Coupon Mad and all...Defence was re-sent using Outlook a/ct. and this generated an immediate auto response, confirming receipt.

    We cannot tell you what their spam filters reject ! Suffice to say if people don't get an auto email receipt , it's not arrived or is stuck in Spam , hence your problem , but outlook is reported to be ok ( and Hotmail )

    Strange that the Data Rectification Notice was sent by Gmail and generated an Auto Response.
    It might have had more to do with sending the Defence at 15.58 hrs rather than Gmail being the problem?
