How to change picture format

Thank's Cornucopia have just looked at what you suggested and will try that next time.Cornucopia said:MS Paint is fully capable of changing the format of a picture quickly and automatically. The result will look pretty much identical.
MS Paint works in BMP as its native format, and you will simply be telling it to convert it to the format you need by "Saving As" and selecting the correct format from the dropdown box (it's underneath the filename box).
In most Windows installations, just double-clicking the image file will open it in MS Paint, so I would suggest trying that first before going to try and find the app.1
