Given that implies you didn't get the emails about renewals etc they may have the email address with a mistake in it?LouFinn73 said:They can only search for an account by email address. I've given them every email address my daughter has had and they still can't find her account. I can't get into the account to skip every month. I've tried calling, email and live chat and can't get anywhere!
Have you checked your bank transaction reference for each amount taken? This might give some form of different reference they could link the account to maybe?0 -
What do you mean "your bank details"? You used your debit card or you entered your account number and sort code?LouFinn73 said:I paid with my bank details.
If its the former you need to telephone your bank and cancel the continuous payment authority... it may be a bit of a fight because banks are really bad with CPAs. If its the latter then you should be able to cancel the Direct Debit online, via the app, on the phone etc and banks are much better at this. If you cancel the DD on the phone you are likely to be able to claw back some of the payments under the DD guarantee but most banks cap it at a years.
Does your daughter use an application for her email like Outlook or does she just log into the Gmail website or such? If the former then search her email for the original receipt or marketing that inevitably will have been sent.0 -

On the DD so long as the co has given them a schedule of payments, then there is no claim. DD's do not cover non receipt etc. Also there is no time limit (years) on DD Guarantee claims. Unlike card payments.
With companies like this they are always sending out emails with products etc. So OP needs to check Spam/Junk folders, as they often go there. If they have not received any emails, including original purchase then the wrong email has been used.Life in the slow lane0
