Has anyone else had problems with Savage X? My daughter bought some underwear from them in December 2019 and I paid with my bank details. We didn't realise that we'd signed up to the monthly membership fee of £49.95. We haven't bought anything from them since but they've been taking £49.95 from January 2020. I've tried emailing and phoning but they can't find an account for us. How can I get them to stop and get a refund?

Never heard of them.

Their website says:

Cancel anytime 

If you’re not completely satisfied with your VIP membership, cancel any time by calling 020 3936 1112. (10am - 6pm, 7 days a week).

 

When you say they can't find an account for you, have you given them the reference number that will appear against your payment on your bank statement? 

You say you signed up with bank details, do you mean as a direct debit?

Can I cancel my Xtra VIP membership anytime?

Of course! But before you cancel your flexible Xtra VIP membership, please note that...
- There is no obligation to spend money each month.
- You can pause monthly: You sign into your account and “skip the month” by the 5th of the month.
- If you don’t take action between the 1st and 5th of the month, you’ll be charged for a member credit on the 6th in the amount of £49,95.

But if you are still willing to leave us, you may cancel your Xtra VIP membership at any time. There is no cancellation fee. You can cancel your VIP membership by contacting us via phone or live chat. You can also send us a letter to Fabletics Ltd., 25 Wilton Road, London SW1V 1LW, to cancel your VIP membership.

As above - getting them to stop should be easy by following the instructions - I wouldn't hold out much hope of a refund though

On the plus side, she now has over a grand to spend on underwear, so should be ok for knickers for a few years.

They can only search for an account by email address. I've given them every email address my daughter has had and they still can't find her account. I can't get into the account to skip every month. I've tried calling, email and live chat and can't get anywhere!

Call the bank and revoke the CPA.

Effects of Withdrawal
 

If you withdraw from this contract, we will terminate your XTRA VIP Membership and refund all payments received from you in respect of your XTRA VIP Membership, subject to the following paragraph.

If you paid your Annual Membership Fee during the withdrawal period and you have not taken advantage of any XTRA VIP Member benefits in that period, we will refund the Annual Membership Fee in full.  Otherwise, we will issue you a partial refund based on your use of XTRA VIP Member benefits during the withdrawal period. 

We will refund you using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.  You will not incur any fees as a result of such refund.
