I find this easier to use - https://www.landregistry-uk.com/map-search shows if the property appears on any registered plan.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

The simple answer is that unless it's a public right of way (which will be shown on the council's definitive map) and it's not on your property's title, then you have no more right to use it than you do to use your neighbour's spare bedroom... Whoever owns it.J_Smotthies2021 said:

He was not really sure when he talked and I checked their land registry records, and it does not say anything about the alley. How can I check that who owns the alleyway?
The follow-on question, of course, is who is going to stop you.
If there is somebody saying they own it and you cannot, then you have two choices.
Take that at face value...
...or accuse them of being a liar, and cause a neighbour conflict.0 -
Just don't order from that website, as it's a third-party rip-off one.theoretica said:

Indeed. It does seem easier to identify the title numbers than the official Land Registry site, but once you have the number(s), buy them from the official site.user1977 said:

Order of magnitude easier to use, though - thanks, @theoretica, for the tip.canaldumidi said:
