Sofa not delivered, 18 weeks on (AHF/FABB furniture)

Ordered on the last week of April this year. 14 week delivery, it got to week 14 I heard nothing so decided to call the company to find out what was going on, they said a "shipping delay and hopfully mid September "
I thought ok what with Covid and the Suiz Canal issues its understandable. Anyway, mid September this week and I called into the store today its a big retail store AHF furniture is their.
I hadn't heard from them since I ordered and paid full in cash (just shy of £2000 and they don't collect old furnitue) the only Time since leaving the store on purchase that I've had any message or contact was by me getting intouch with them.
All the staff were talking at the entrance then they swarmed around me, once I asked them to track my order, they all looked at eachother? Told me again delays and hopfully the end if September which didn't stand too promising.
AIBU to moan? I want my money back (then im at the back to the start again) not the stores fault but my partner is disabled and our chairs now really make it hard to get up out of, my partner has a wasting disease (Huntington's) similar to MS

I'd ask for your money back, but do consider how long it might take to get a sofa elsewhere.Damonlufc said:Ordered on the last week of April this year. 14 week delivery, it got to week 14 I heard nothing so decided to call the company to find out what was going on, they said a "shipping delay and hopfully mid September "

I'd be asking for my money back on principle that I'd rather not leave £2000 in cash with a company for months in the current climate.Aylesbury_Duck said:

Can you not pay with debit card or ideally credit card OP?0 -
Op here... I paid on my natwest debit card.
Am I entitled to my money back, alot of reviews I've read for the company have the same issue as me but no such luck
