I have sold the car and moved...do I tell update Indigo and QDR/zzps?

Hi, apologies I can't find an answer to this. I have PCN's dating back 3-4 years now. I have been through a lot to try and get Indigo to just let me pay for the original PCN's of £20 instead of the £128 after the debt collectors (zzps and QDR) both added their 'admin fees'. Initially Indigo responded and said yes that's fine and agreed (in writing) for me to pay the PCN's. I asked for an invoice/how to pay. The following day they changed their minds and said the person who responded to me "made a mistake" and that I would have to pay just zzps/QDR rather than them as it is "out of their hands". So I refused and said that I would go to court to settle this if they requested. They didn't. The debt collectors and Indigo have said basically "you need to pay and this is the last correspondence we will have with you about this". I updated them when I moved and had no reply.
I have now sold that car and have a new one. I have also moved. My question is:
Should I contact them again to tell them my new address just in case they do decide to take me to court? I am reticent to do this as have been told that the '6 year rule' goes from your last contact with them. If I contact them now, will it start the 6 years off again?
Many thanks for your advice.

no it wont start a new trigger datelet the DPO at Indigo know, with redacted copies of 2 recent utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law , no need to inform anyone else , especially not debt collectorsselling or disposing of the vehicle is irrelevant3

Yes give their DPO your new address and insist that they ERASE the old address from their database because it is no longer an address at which you can be contacted.
This does not reset the clock, unlike with a credit agreement debt.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you complained to your MP.. Have you seen this?
They have added what appears to be an extra unlawful amount for debt collection. Judges have dismissed an entire claim because this. Read this and complain to your MP.
Excel v Wilkinson
At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims. That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued. The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'. This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.

Interestingly they have just phoned me 'out of the blue' after no contact for 2.5 years. They had my email address that is attached to this site, not my email address I had been contacting them on. I have never contacted them from that email address. Is there a way they have been able to find out my email address by looking at this site?
Anyway, I have told them my new address (now in writing) and provided evidence. They are still saying I have to pay and if I don't I will have a CCJ. I told them that I am aware that I won't have a CCJ unless a judge decides this and at no point have I received any invitation to attend court. I also quoted the above.1 -
They will not be able to determine your e-mail address from this site; they may however, join, pretending to be a normal member of the public and send you a PM. Seems a bit of a stretch when they cold just phone you like they did.1

Thanks, I haven't been sent any PM's and wouldn't respond if I did. I'm just curious as to how they had this email address when I have only ever contacted them on another. Must just be a coincidence I guess.
Have told them I'm feeling harrassed and said they can either take me to court or allow me to pay the original charges, but other than that do not contact me again. But it seems Indigo are no longer the company and they have become 'Saba'. My email to Indigo just now bounced. QDR are saying that zzps are their client and they're working for them! It's doing my head in!
I was under the impression that zzps or QDR could not take someone to court and it had to be the original client which was Indigo.....is this not the case?1 -
They will have your email address and possibly your phone number from a soft trace of your data.
Maybe that email has been used for insurance or a bank account and is on your Experian record. A soft trace is allowed snd leaves no trace visible and doesn't affect your credit score.
But it seems Indigo are no longer the company and they have become 'Saba'.
Yep, we know. They changed their name.
My email to Indigo just now bounced. QDR are saying that zzps are their client and they're working for them! It's doing my head in!Yes, we know this as well. Nothing new. QDR are instructed by ZZPS, they are in each other's pockets. Same as any ZZPS or QDR case.
If you get a court claim, the Claimant will be SABA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
