She’s going to have to contact Santander to find out what the cráic is - there might be a Plevin-eligible complaint they’re trying to get permission to bill her for but as you’re both unclear as to why her ‘claims’ (complaints*) were rejected, it makes it hard at this point to advise properly.

ask Santander for copies of the rejection letters and come back. In the mean time, don’t sign anything for fast track or any other CMC.

(*re your point on ‘she hasn’t complained’, technically she did when she employed fast track. They don’t ‘sort’ anything, they simply send a template letter to the banks to check if she had PPI, the banks have then possibly converted these to complaints and investigate accordingly,)

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

Thanks for the reply, now I know what you mean by complaints/complained.

This is the first time I've paid any interest in PPI so sorry if I've come across as a bit thick.

No problem, a lot of us on here worked in PPI complaint departments for banks and still got confused from time to time. So many terms were thrown around by claims management companies, partly to muddy the waters to make them appear more needed than they were, that it makes it difficult sometimes to get the answer you need, hence the above attempts to get more information as there are a lot of small nuances which change the fundamentals of how you should proceed.
