I never actually said that as it was a new one for me but I'll take it if your giving me credit for itNSG666 said:Incoming moist air passes through the very cold evaporator of the air con causing the moisture to condense and cool - this happens if the a/c is on regardless of the heat setting. In say winter when you want warm air the cold air then passes trough the heat exchanger of the 'heater'.
As Thesaltmustflow says it's a common misconception that (a/c is only useful in summer)

It's not a problem. It's the aircon doing what it's meant to do. There is nothing wrong with the car.
yes - she called out greenflag never seen so much water before

Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.1 -
What would you be complaining about?Deleted_User said:My wife has been waiting over 2 hours for greenflag to attend - not very good is itShe has a car full of food shopping tooShould she risk driving home ?complaint to greenflag coming
You know they have to prioritise calls right?2 -
I'm 99% certain it's the air-con but I'd hate to be wrong and something go 'pop' on the way home Hopefully that's all it will be and you can tell her the car was 'bleeding' in sympathy with you as the credit card was getting a batteringDeleted_User said:My wife has been waiting over 2 hours for greenflag to attend - not very good is itShe has a car full of food shopping tooShould she risk driving home ?complaint to greenflag coming

it can cause quite a pool of water, enough to run down the drive at our house from both cars.Deleted_User said:AdrianC said:

They're maybe prioritising someone that really needs help and isn't just a bit ignorant (in the best possible way) about aircon.0 -
Then do the taste test if all else fails.0

You know they have to prioritise calls right?prioritising eh ?How much more priority do you need than a lone woman with a car full of perishable shopping ?0 -
I had assumed she was in a supermarket car park.Deleted_User said:warby68 said:

Lone woman would apply more on a dark country road etc and dangerous locations for a breakdown would take priority. I honestly don't think an emergency service can take shopping into account.
Yes its not perfect but you always seem dissatisfied with everything rather than realistic.7
