I had to do a factory reset on my Humax recorder.
At first all was well them it started .
It let's me record a programme but when I want to change channel to watch another programme at the same time, it won't let me select.
I'm not a techie, so in dummy terms if you can help please

OK if you press menu , then at the bottom system(looks like a magnifying glass)then diagnosisThe signal strength will show at the bottom ....Tuner 1 Tuner 2are they both looking good.eg

It's strange because it seems to allow me to record and then watch a programme near to it

On the remote , there is STB and TV next to the power button .Have you tried those ? I find that sometimes I have to press the STB to free it sometimes if it gets stuck .0

Personal Video Recorder...That changes the remote to the Foxsat. I am a bit puzzled since both tuners have 90% so you should be able to record and watch another. Only time I experienced that was when one of my F-connectors was a bit loose on the cable and it was intermittent. You could check those and I will have a further look on the web. OH and when you go to the Diagnostics does it have the same s/w version and loader version?
