Broadband have no service to new address

Have been a Virgin media/broadband customer for many years.
change of address, Virgin don’t service the area hence can’t continue my contract with them. However they are charging me £240 to end my contract.
Of course I’m not happy to pay this, would have stayed with them had I been able. I did complain and was supposed to receive a call back, this hasn’t happened.
Can I avoid paying this fee??
thankd

At the end of the day it's not VM's problem you've decided to move to an area they don't cover. You're the one breaking the contract, not them so fees are unfortunately inevitable.0

thankdNo. You agreed to pay it if you cancelled it before the contract was up. See T&Cs. You moving house to a non-Virgin area (a decision you've made) is you breaking the contract, they haven't moved you to a non-Virgin area.0 -
Thread title is misleading as you should have at least BT Openreach services .

Agreed, the title should really be VM broadband have no service to new address.
As already stated, it’s your ‘choice’ to move , and VM are not present at every address, so if moving to somewhere that doesn’t have VM , ETC is just another moving expense, like the removal van.1
