Virgin media contract finishing soon so price going up,advice please

My virgin contract is ending soon and will be rising from £23.50 to £37.00 which i can't afford,I just have 50mb fibre broadband which is fine for me.i'm going to cancel and see if the retention team calls back,can anyone tell me if they have seen any offers anywhere that I could then use as leverage when I speak to virgin to get a good deal.thanks
