It seems to me that Asda were in breach of contract, so the OP should be able to rescind/exit the contract with a full refund. That do you?
Just because it doesn't normally happen (refund of airtime credit) doesn't mean it can't.

They're not in breach of contract, so no, that's not on the cards.Jenni_D said:It seems to me that Asda were in breach of contract, so the OP should be able to rescind/exit the contract with a full refund. That do you?

- Changes we can make to the Price Plan, Services and terms of this agreement
7.1) We may make changes to the Price Plan and the terms of this agreement, including to introduce new terms and conditions and charges to the Price Plan, at any time for one or more of the following reasons, acting reasonably:
- if we introduce new Services, features or benefits;
- to update, upgrade, enhance or modify the Services;
- if the costs to us of providing the Services, or running our ASDA Mobile business increases (for example if our Network provider and other businesses we buy our services or products from increases their prices);
- to reflect changes and developments in technology;
- to reflect changes in laws, regulation or regulatory guidance applicable to us;
- to reflect changes to Vodafone's telecommunications licence; and
- to make the terms of our agreement clearer or easier to understand.

Contact Asda again, and make a formal complaint. They signed you up for a bundle deal without ever asking if you wanted it. Ask for a £10 credit back to your account, and for the bundle to be cancelled.It is totally possible for a mobile phone provider to make credits to a PAYG account if they have made an error. The bundle should be cancellable at any time if you are still on PAYG.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.2 -
Last response ... no it wouldn't - simply because I disagree. (Some people seem to only see what they want to see, rather than what is actually written). 🙄y3sitsm3 said:
