im thinking of putting just over 70k into a 1 years fixed with atom...before i do has anybody had any issues with atom or is it a safe bet ?

Have used them and app is fine, simple to use and even includes estimated interest for forthcoming months.

Only issue I have is that the 1 year rate nearly doubled not long after I opened one

Same as last poster.

Long time user of Atom with zero negative issues.

Regarding Fixed Term Savers though, I always find they rise after I open one, never fall 🤷‍♂️

at the moment 1.5 im happy with if it does rise....thats the chance we take...im not planning on putting it in till 1st march next year

I would be amazed if Atom are still offering 1.50% next March.

Yes, I agree, by next March it will be double that.

I have had Atom fixed rate savers for a few years and never had a problem with them

i was lucky to get the 1.5% , previously it was 0.80% 

spending the interest on a free holiday next autumn
