Unsecured debts on late mum’s estate without loan agreements.

If the house has been bequeathed to current residents, then it would it not take it out of the estate?
Have you been back to the original lenders on the debts?
As when my father died and had a debt on CC it was written off despite being more than enough in the joint acc (with same bank) to cover it.

The original lenders have basically said that it is in the hands of Phillips and Cohen who apparently specialise in bereavement debts (what a vocation!) p and c have requested the documents from the original lenders but none have been provided.
so I suppose it’s just a matter of waiting until they are provided, if they ever are.0 -
