Pre-action stage case ref. request from legals

Hi
I'm at pre-action stage with LBC issued (non-parking eye). Have submitted SAR and recieved response. Defendants legals now asking for my case ref., name & address to allow them to locate my case - even though they ref. most of this in the subject of their email. I don't see this step in the guide and as my case isn't unique I'm tempted to ignore and wait for the court claim. Perhaps an attempt to open a dialogue with me? I hope they follow through with the court claim as I have my defence ready to go and it is a great excuse to swat up on the legal process.

Sounds like an auto response?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Perhaps, although the email referenced the date of my email re. Me seeking debt advice, request 30 days on hold, PAP 2017 etc. as per the guide. It was also sent after the 30 day on-hold period. I will ignore as you haven't advised I respond. Can supply full wording via PM if you're interested?
Thanks for your help.0 -

Update: N1 received, AOS submitted through MCOL, working on my defence now.
I assume I don't submit a defence through MCOL (which is limited to 122 lines) and instead draft as a pdf as advised and email to CCBCAQ.1 -
Correctly, exactly as advised in NEWBIE sticky and standard defence template.4
