It'll slow it down, but it won't stop it. This isn't 2008.0

Well I have sold my Crypto and keeping the gold. I needed some money and decided it was better to sell the crypto.0

Well obviously not because that's impossible and it already has slowed.darren232002 said:It'll slow it down, but it won't stop it. This isn't 2008.0 -
I was hoping the media attention that the taproot upgrade on bitcoin has happened would push us up to a new ATH... But doesn't seem to have done much.0

Americans only just starting to get up - I have noticed the crypto market picks up quite a bit after around 1:30pm UK time.adam06_2 said:I was hoping the media attention that the taproot upgrade on bitcoin has happened would push us up to a new ATH... But doesn't seem to have done much.
I don't know how much the Taproot upgrade will affect the price though (I for one was just hoping nothing went wrong!)

Taproot likely won't be a fast market mover... Only half the nodes have updated too, so it'll be a slow burn.0

A poor choice of words by myself, but I'm not going to take a 5 word reply to my previous post seriously.tebbins said:

Have I said that?
So if I post something, and instead of continuing to spam about it incessantly for months, tell people to do their own research instead of substantiate my, I choose to leave it there because as I see it I've said my peice in the post and see no benefit to repeating myself, it means that I no longer agree with, believe in or support those points?
As usual, utter nonsense from the great Darren.0 -

But doesn't seem to have done much.As the upgrade has been in progress for years and has been a done deal for several months, i.e. everyone already knew it was going to happen and factored that in to how much they were willing to pay for a Bitcoin, why would the fact that it's happened make number go up?Is crypto meant to be immune to the Efficient Market Hypothesis, along with central bank manipulation etc etc?2

The innovation which later comes out of Taproot will be the interesting bit, rather than simply Taproot activating.Malthusian said:adam06_2 said:I was hoping the media attention that the taproot upgrade on bitcoin has happened would push us up to a new ATH... For example, Jack Dorsey (Twitter CEO), is releasing a whitepaper this month about a DeFi product, which will be built on Bitcoin & makes use of Taproot...0
