Evening allToday's small things:Dog walk (I wouldn't get away with not taking him - unless it is raining of course
)
Made the rest of the basil leaves I picked yesterday into pesto, and froze itFroze more raspberriesBlitzed spare room ready for the GDs at the weekend. Hoovered, made up the beds, put away all the stuff the smaller kids had got out all over the place and played with. No doubt they will get it out again as soon as they get the chanceCleaned main bathroom and ensuiteLeftovers for lunchCut OH's hair in my amateurish way. He won't go to the barber's (so must be happy with my efforts), so I bought new clippers, as the old ones have given up the ghost.Watered garden pots that needed it, and applied nematodes to the strawberries, to prevent them being decimated by vine weevils over winter (they eat the roots and kill the plantsFound 2 more courgettesMade a pasta salad to go with other leftovers for dinner. It had griddled courgettes in it!4 -

Evening allShattered due to trying to keep up with a 14 year old and an 11 year oldDog walk early, before they got upThen breakfast before car booting (they are avid fans)Then pancake making as they needed a second breakfastThen they wanted to go to the park and the sweet shopThen believe it or not, they wanted to know what was for lunch. They are both really skinny, but seem to be forever hungry - I had forgotten that stage!!They went up to chill out with their phones after lunch (they were really tired, goodness knows what time they went to sleep), and stayed there pretty much till their parents came to collect them. Phew! They were very good though.Not much done apart from that - cooked dinner for OH and I, put the dishwasher on, and am doing nothing else today.Early night planned!2
