Evening allTime has run away with me again, and I have missed a couple of days.Today I have:Walked dogRedone freezer inventoryHarvested a load of basil from the greenhouse and made pesto - I ran out of nuts before I used up all the leaves. Found some frozen walnuts, they will do, so I can make more tomorrow!Made a sausage casserole thing for dinner, to use up various bendy veg. There is enough for lunch tomorrow as wellPicked more raspberries, plus a few strawberries and blueberries. Also a lettuce.OH picked more beansWorked this afternoonNeed to finish pesto, freeze some beans, and make ratatouille tomorrow, to use up aubergines and courgettes. Also need to sort out spare bedroom as I have GDs aged 14 and 11 staying this weekend. They are vegetarians who don't much like vegetables so that will be fun! I make lots of veggie dishes, but doubt that they will like those - guess that means a trip to the supermarket to buy fake sausages etc3

One thing I set up this week with my debit card is the facility to donate money to charity every time I use my card. I purposely set the amount high (equivalent to about 30 pence per transaction). It may sound stingy but hear me out. It made me realise how many silly or wasteful purchases I was making. At first I balked at the amount I gave away last month - then realised it was nearly exactly the amount I had spent in just one indulgent shopping trip. It's made me think more carefully about how I spend and what I spend it on.4
