Did you decide to have haggis? I hope you did, we would have joined you if I could find gluten free haggis this side of the boarder.edinburgher said:
We have haggis, carrots (don't really like neeps) and tatties, so could do a bit of a Burns Night later on. Our only whisky is American but I won't tell if you don't

We had haggis, mashed carrots with butter and chives, and mashed potatoes with butter and white pepper. I also whipped up a very tasty sweet + salty gravy that used cooking juices from last week's carnitas, chicken gravy granules, and HM cranberry sauce. A bit random, but very much delicious.A few glasses of whisky may also have been consumed, no ill effects today

No financial new today - £270 DD for the credit card went out, reducing our psychologically important £8,000 buffer because credit card payments reduce net worth. I used virement to try and get us back to the usual buffer but it will take a few days... Mrs E gets paid on Wednesday, which will help.7 -
@Baileys_Babe - have you tried m&s and/or 0cad0? - I was surprised to see haggis in the train station m&s on my way into the office the other day - it's a tiny store where i stop off to get milk for coffee & yogurt for granola, but in it's case of fresh meat there were tubes of the traditional pork offal haggis as well as a veggie & lentil version.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
