Gosh that litter sounds interesting. I was just checking it out. When they say it lasts ages, how long is ages? and is it a total replacement or scoop and refresh?
I confess we use a bag a week of the £1.55 a bag Morries Savers Cat Litter which is Fullers' Earth (clumping clay) and replace it on dustbin day with regular scooping and a can of air freshener on standbySave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2135.07/£3000 or 71.17% of my annual spend so far

We use a similar sort of litter (Cat's best - woodchip based rather than corn) SL, and a big sack will last nearly 6 months with two trays and two cats. I mainly just scoop, with a full change every couple of months. We have actually just swapped to their pellet version as it tracks less around the house (a major issue when they are fluffy!). I confess I don't understand why everyone does use clumping, given that it must be much more economical!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

@Suffolk_lass - I think we've gone from having to empty the tray once a week to maybe every 3 weeks? In between changes it also doesn't smell bad unless the cat has just been. We found with other litters (for example, C@tsan clumping) that it stank even when all waste had been scooped. This stuff has a pleasant sort of grainy smell (perhaps not a million miles away from H0rlicks) when it is fresh. It's certainly not cheap, but we have to work in the same room and life is too short to smell cat waste5

I hate the B@rclays mortgage website so much!
Have been trying to make an OP for 2 days and it's impossible to make a debit card payment online. Tried multiple browsers/deleting cached files etc. There's no error message, it just doesn't work. Ended up just paying it into the ISA instead.

I'm here for the cat litter talk, lol! We gained (by fluke, he found us) a cat in August, and after a good decade without cats, we have a fourth family member again
I "the olden days", I used the clumping cat litter from W!lko's, but with this little fellow, it was all a bit of a rush, so we sorted what we could find nearby, and he's been on C@ts@n non-clumping litter ever since. I don't think it's the holy grail of litters, so I read the other posts with interest - thanks for sharing
