    I eventually stuck it on Freecycle - it went in a matter of minutes.
    What is the odds you will find a use for it sometime soon now it has gone.
  • I presume it can also be used what it was designed for......as a plinth for a fire surround. Someone got themselves a bargain.

    Window cills, replacement tops for tables and cupboards, bathroom and kitchen worktops, cut into smaller pieces they make mounting plinths for statues, tops for summer kitchens in garden  etc etc
    I don't have the skill or equipment - and I really didn't want to spend any money on it!
    No man is worth crawling on this earth.
