    Happy new year everyone!! 🙌😊

Didn’t think I would be on today but a late night has scuppered my plans for today - just want to chillax and snooze! 😂

I realised that I don't have enough fruit for a juice day so that will have to wait until tomorrow- I'm sticking to water and salads today instead 😉

I've done the yoga and feel better for that - I'll do the rest later 😊

I've applied for a refund for something that didn’t arrive and also written down when my insurances are due this year so that I can shop around - that's my frugal stuff done for the day!

I hope you're all having a lovely day!

Glad you had a nice day @savingholmes 😊

Today has been a good one for me - it was new moon this evening so I had the opportunity to complete some things that I didn't feel well enough to do at solstice 😊

I've had a few hours of self-care; defur, shower, exfoliate, moisturise, meditation, plenty of water and herbal tea, salads and fruit and very shortly I'll have an early night with relaxing music. I've really enjoyed today and am looking forward to tomorrow's walk and yoga 😊

It's back to work on Tuesday but I've already got my 'to do' list sorted so I'm feeling pretty relaxed about that - the new routines I've decided on for myself will mean that I have a better balance to my days and have time to maintain my self-care. I'm lucky to work from home and I pretty much set my own timetable so there is little stress involved really!

Right, off to make some 'sleepy tea'! 😊

Went shopping today- spent more than intended but only on stuff that was needed so no issue with that 😉

I managed to twist my knee this morning so no yoga or walking 🙈 nothing serious just a bit swollen and need to rest it - hopefully it will be okay in a couple of days and I'll get back with the programme!! 😉

Having another lovely day despite the damage - after shopping we came home and had breakfast, I had melon and a pot of cherry tea, then I sorted the menu plan for a week (will probably last longer than that but we'll see) then did my knee in so have been slobbing on the sofa watching rubbish on TV and snoozing 😉

Lunch was lentils, carrots and runner beans in orange, parsnip and sweet potato mash, salad leaves with pomegranate and hommous - all leftovers from the past couple  days (apart from the leaves! 😉). Dh is cooking some stuff for dinner for himself (corpse based so not for me! 😝) and I'll just have some ricecakes if I'm hungry 😊

I'm having another early night tonight- I slept better yesterday when I listened to music so happy to repeat that!

Knee is still not great today so decided - after watching more of the 30 day 'move' programme of adriene- that I need to be easing myself into my healthy lifestyle!!

As a result, I've done adriene's 20min complete beginners practice this morning and I'll stick with that for a few weeks before I move onto her longer beginners stuff - I'm aiming to be able to do the 'move' programme in December then whatever she brings out next January 😉 this is a long term plan so I need to be realistic - it's taken decades to get this unfit and unhealthy, I can't change it overnight! Marathon not sprint springs to mind!!

With the knee being ropey my lunchtime walk will be a short one but I'll still do it 😊

I've dry-skin brushed, showered and moisturised this morning, sprayed perfume and am just about to go downstairs to take my supplements and have a smoothie- a good start to my day! 😊

I'm going to make roasted cauliflower later for dinner - salad for lunch and plenty of water throughout the day- I will make today count!

Finance wise, I have put in my meter reading for the leccy- looks like it's going to be big bill this month 🙈 I need to think about reducing my use over the next month - I'm not surprised at the amount I've used as we've had visitors and I've cooked a lot more/done more washing/tumbledrying/dishwashing etc as a result but as shopping around is pretty much off the table at the moment I need to be a bit more savvy with what I use.

With that in mind, I'll make sure that I cook some other stuff in the oven with the cauliflower- even if it's just jacket potatoes that I can stuff and freeze! 😉

Right, better get on with the rest of my day!!

Leccy bill has come in and is eye-watering!! 😔 it's not that I don't have the money for it it just annoys me!

Knee is still dodgy- did further damage on 5th - so no yoga or walking has been done. It is improving though so if I'm lucky I'll be able to do stuff by the middle of the week 😊 Unfortunately, my lack of mobility is not helping my losing weight target though...

Food has been from stores mainly, few bits of fresh fruit and veg bought plus some household/toiletries but doing pretty well on the groceries all things considered!

Bought the seed potatoes today ready for chitting- I'm looking forward to growing them again as there's something lovely about rooting around a sack and discovering them - I'm easily pleased! 😂

Not much else to report- all is pretty good really! 😊
