She has no right to do this though?  She’s a control freak , you wouldn’t believe how much she tries to get away with.  A couple of months ago he had her and they went for a weekend break to Scotland with his partner and her daughter and she reported him to the court for removing her from the country.   She thinks she has to be told. But when they go to their caravan in Wales nothing is said.
technically she is correct on that one. Scotland is outside the jurisdiction of the court of England & Wales so legally, going to Scotland is no different than going to France or Japan, and would need permission from the court, or the agreement of both parents. England and Wales share a jurisdiction so Wales doesn't count as leaving the jurisdiction.
If there is a court order, if he looks at it it probably explicitly says on the front of it that no one can remove the child from the jurisdiction of England & Wales. (there are exemptions for the parent the child lives with so if it d expressly set out at child living with him half the time he may be OK -)

So far as the tracker is concerned, she has a right to have a tracking app on the child's phone, he has the right to turn that phone off while child is in his care.  The obvious solution d for the phone to be turned off and left in his house during contact. - alternatively he may be able to turn the app off while she is with him, but that may depend on the settings

That said, if the child is being subjected to cross examination and being shouted at and called a liar, or of she feels the need to le to her mum, those are both much more concerning issues, as they go directly to the child's welfare.
