Battery switch
I'm perfectly happy with my existing Samsung S9 except that the battery life has gradually diminished. Rather that buy a new phone as I'm currently on Sim only if I were to simply buy a new battery would that solve the battery life problem I have? That was I can carry on paying £8 a month instead of about £27 for an upgrade

A lot of modern phones aren't designed for battery replacement (user-friendly replacement anyway). as they are sealed units. As you'll see from this video:It can be done but is quite tricky and cumbersome.1

There are repair shops that will do the replacement, a Google shows price starts from £30.
