No access to Apps via HP Laptop?

I may be a little naïve, but a lot of the apps I am using on my phone I'd like to use on the HP Pavilion X360 13-U 062SA convertible laptop
I find it easier to keyboard, & there are now getting too many apps to sort on the phone.
Things like banking, doctors, shopping - I prefer to do using laptop/keyboard & would prefer to use the same app to keep things simple.
However I am unable to load the same apps onto the laptop?
Is it because I don't appear to have the PlayStore app on my laptop (not sure why?) through which to load them - possibly not - because all apps on our home network appear in "My Android Apps" on my google play screen (see pic)
On checking each download in Google play apps, you cannot access them from there - Most app's are available only to our (Samsung) phones ? Do they simply need something else to make them work via the laptop?
Or Is it our HP PC that wont accept "proper apps" - am I driving myself crazy trying to do something which isn't possible ?
That said - we are thinking of replacing the laptop - so if the HP wont accept the apps then any recommendations gratefully received
thanks (non-techie!!)

The apps you're looking at ONLY run on the Android platform, which is what your phones run on.
Your PC will be running windows. Windows can't run Android apps, doesn't matter what make or model you buy.
You can run an emulator to get Android to run on a PC, but that's mainly for games. I'm not all sure you'd get a banking app to run on them. . .

So what do I need please? - a new/different PC / tablet - (happy to get a tablet to supplement/replace the existing PC)

Any Android tablet should run all the apps you're looking for. There are 100's, depending on what you want to pay and what screen size you'd like?

Any Android based tablet will be able to run Android phone apps obviously.
No Windows based PC/Laptop can run Android apps.1 -
SO - I've spotted a couple online
Buy RCA Apollo 11 Pro 11.6” Tablet - 32 GB, Black | Free Delivery | Currys
or
Buy SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A7 10.4" Tablet - 32 GB, Silver | Free Delivery | Currys
these both seem to be Android - am I looking in the right direction ??

A Windows PC can happily run Android APPS, but only if you download and install an Android Emulator first.
BLUESTACKS is very popular but there are a good selection here

This may put me on until Windows 110

Bluestacks works fine on W 10, no need to change your OS, it may run better if your PC supports virtualisation.
