Booking to go on a cruise in the light of the past eighteen months is certainly ... bold.
  • Other lines seem to be operating just fine albeit with strict mask wearing, social distancing, no buffets, limited passenger numbers and no excursions unless its in a cruise ship organised bubble. Honestly, I'd take a cruise right now over staying in a hotel in Cornwall or wherever.

I confess to having a cruise booked for next year (was meant to be end of this year but I have moved it) the cruise line has a 100% vaccinated policy (not jabbed, not allowed onboard - the exception being children under 12) and can cancel for voucher/shift cruise up to 48 hours before departure (MSC appears to be 15 days) Maybe I feel more comfortable about it as it is a small ship (anything over 1000 passengers is a no from me covid times or not)  they have had a test cruise and first cruise without any issues but anything can change so not getting too excited.
