Picture is the gas meter, mines the same and looks like you are inputting correctly. However usage is about 4 times higher than my 3 bed detached with an old 1984 boiler only used for hot water and heating turned off at this time of year. Last bill £17 till August mpostly standing charge.

Electric usage at that time of year is on the high side at 330 kw/h, i run 3kw machines all day for 250kw/hrs £45 p/m, contract taken out in Jan 2021. Your provider looks very dear (£60.98 p/m) considering its an old tariff before the numerous price hikes from this time last year.

I would start shopping round, only use actual usage not providers ficticious figures.

  • Thank you for your advice, probably a silly question, but is there an easy way to work out my actual usage so I use that when I shop around?

I don't think you've given us an electric from 12 months ago -  but take the reading you did on 10/7/21 of 51310 and deduct the one from 12 months ago - that gives your Actual Annual Consumption in kWh

Gas similarly (1)1037 less 9809 gives 1228 cu ft ; multiply by 33 gives 40,500 kWh...    Others may correct me but I think your meter has gone around the clock  -hence my (1).   Time to apply for a Smart.

You are an excessively high gas user - you need to look at boiler controls, thermostats etc

PS Separate suppliers are generally cheaper than dual fuel these days.   Be prepared for a shock - costs gone up considerably.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
