Lebara change plan

I'm currently on an old MSE bagged Lebara plan of free calls and texts with 1Gb of data for £5.
The latest MSE plan would give me 3Gb data for the same price.
It's there an easy way to 'upgrade' and keep my same number or have I got to port away and join again?
Any help appreciated!

I can only relate to my experience. I wanted to change to a different package with them and keep my number.Tried by contacting them but it was far easier finding a temporary (cheap) 1 month plan provider, porting my number to them, starting again with Lebara and porting the number once more. At the moment they are crediting 5gb data for porting in a number. That looks to have replaced the previous £10 credit offering. It's a bit of a runaround but I found it less hassle.I'm now on a 3gb, unlimited calls and texts at £4.99/month. First month £1.99.0

I used this method, I was nearly out of data so didn't wait until the end of my current month.gavinbaxter said:Have a look at this thread from a couple of weeks ago

Just set my current tariff to not update
Used the link in the post above to select a new (cheaper by 10p) tariff and selected "apply to existing SIM"
I now have 3Gb data and unlimited calls / messages for £4.90 a month. It's the MSE Exclusive deal not the uSwitch one as it's 10p cheaper!
It took 2 mins to do.1 -

I ported the number to SMARTY for, I think it was 2 months, when there was an "exclusive" through moneysupermarket, with a cheap basic option for the first month (£1.99), which is not now available.
