Given the OP's track record, I would say so...Jenni_D said:

This has to be a wind up.Flatulentoldgoat said:So I was driving along at 50 on an A road, and there was this little squirrel on the road in the distance. I don't think he knew where to go!As I was getting closer I was screaming and yelling run away little guy! I couldn't slow down and stop for him. I think he realised my car was there at the last minute and he did a funny circle. The next thing know my car rolls over him and I shut my eyes. I hear this tiny thud and my eyes instantly welled up.I took a brave look in my rear view mirror and I swear I saw him, I could only look for a split second and he was lying down wriggling about. Was he okay? Do they normally do that? Im so scared my car got him, I wanted to stop and call the RSPCA but I couldn't stop there was another car right behind me and he laughing! I couldn't believe it.I'm so upset right now. Do I need to call the police, will my insurance company need to know also?I'm so sorry please help me I don't know what to do.4 -
Thats it now.
You car has tasted squirrel, you will need to get it put to sleep.
It will become dangerous now and will chase squirrels up trees, Do the squirrels a favour and get rid of the car now.
Think of the children.5 -
Maybe the OP should buy this....

fyi - while it is legal to pull over and move any killed animal off the road the occupants of the guilty car are not allowed to pick it up and take it home (presumably to be consumed). On the other hand the tailgating maniac behind would be allowed to fill their freezer should they so desire.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Used to work for the water authority in a rural area so lots of septic tanks etc. We sold a "starter kit" to seed a new tank (or recently restarted one) however not really having gotten the idea of being a business yet we used to tell callers that we can sell it to them however if they see a few days old roadkill anywhere then throwing that in the tank will do at least as good a job as what we are selling.Jenni_D said:
Does it? My cousin would be like that - even if she sees roadkill (that was nothing to do with her) she wells up.Flight3287462 said:

Most people thanked us and didn't proceed to buy the kit but one woman responded that she was a vegetarian and no way was she doing that... I'm not exactly sure what bit she misunderstood or how vegetarianism was relevant. That was the only kit I ever recall selling (very possibly was made of roadkill just in powder form)2 -
The tailgater would need to have a very small freezer - It was only one little squirrel that the OP ran over.Brie said:On the other hand the tailgating maniac behind would be allowed to fill their freezer should they so desire.
What the OP has not yet clarified was whether this even was in the Lambo and with the after-market cruise control switched on?

For future reference and for anyone in doubt which animals when accidentally killed on the road need to be notified to the relevant authorities, D G CHAMPS
Dog, Goat, Cattle, Horse, Ass, Mule, Pig, SheepIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
If you hit cattle or a horse then you would probably be notifying the authorities from your hospital bed1

My family were farmers and I remember one of my uncles telling me that the best thing to get a new septic tank started was to leave a dead hen until it was covered in maggots then throw that in!Sandtree said:

For the dignity of the deceased squirrel you may want to consider putting it in a Tesco Bag For Life and giving it a decent burial in your garden :'(Flatulentoldgoat said:I'm so sorry please help me I don't know what to do.
