Parking Ticket - Letter Before Claim - Gladstone Solicitors

Comments

  • Thanks @Coupon-mad

    Do I respond to the letter from Gladstone Solicitors “letter before claim”

    Or do I ignore it, says I should either;

    1) Pay Debt
    2) Dispute Debt

    I haven’t said anything back and guess I should ignore and play my card and see if the client “takes me to court”

    Is the client realistically likely to
    take me to court or is it too much hassle for them
  • Previously posted 4th September:-

    "Car parks management"  -  can you state the full name of the ppc"

    Two possibles  -  or is it something else  (just in case of confusion):-

    Car Park Management Services (CPMS) Ltd

    UK Car Park Management Ltd
  • @1505grandad don’t want to give out too much information. Previous posts on this have said don’t give too
    much info relevant to case. As companies have been know to go through threads to use as evidence

    Don’t worry about that.  We do heed to know which one it is.

    re the LBC, the NEWBIES thread 2nd post covers what to do.

    No worries but we do need to know the PPC because there are differences.

    It’ll be UKCPM I think.

  • Our client: U.K. Car Park Management Limited so you are right it’s UKCPM

    Also @Coupon-mad I read the post on Letter Before Claim and I need to write an SAR to their DPO so basicallt
    a subject access request to UKCPM to legally see what data they have on me?

    I know they have the pic of the car and the time showing it’s over so surely they will just send that back

    Cheers for all your help on this guys, everyone saying a 99% win rate if goes to court but is that 99% win rate for cases that are more innocent and less clear cut.

    every case is slightly different (signings at car park, person driving, time going over etc etc )
  • Send the SAR directly to UKCPM yes absolutely not via this form on the Gladstone solicitors letter

    They will have to show all their evidence that includes your data.  That’s every photo and every letter and also ask specifically for a screenshot of the PCN HISTORY held on their system.

    The latter shows the true dates posted.  Can be useful.

  • SAR sent to DPO specific email at UKCPM

    email sent to;
    enquiries@gladstonesolicitors informing them “I am seeking debt advice but deny debt and case must be put on hold for no less than 30 days under PAP for debt claims 2017”

    and I have sent your client a SAR

    next step just wait yes…..
