To switch or not to switch - from BG Evolve - that is the question

I know it is impossible to know with any degree of accuracy but my BG Evolve tariff is ending and to stay with them it will jump from £64 a month to £92 a month - 1 year fix (but with no exit fees). Have a quote from EDF of £91 per month (with cash back of £75) fixed for 3 years. Do people think that would a good tariff (their 2 year fix quoted me is higher) for now and the future. TIA

BGEvolve 1 yr fix, no exit charges - Elec 24.801 / day and 22.775 / kwh. Gas 14.278 / day and 5.606/kwh
EDF 3 year fix £75 credit, £15 per fuel exit charges - Elec 23.5 / day and 21.65/kwh. Gas 26.12/day and 4.006 / kwh
Usage - Elec 2400kwh/year, gas 9400 kwh/year
In the first year EDF (with the credit) would be over £200 cheaper. But in the long run who knows? And with only £30 exit charges if things improved it might prove worth it for a switch away from EDF0 -
Its a no brainer - EDF tariffs will make much more over the BGE tariffs in year ! than the exit fee PLUS a £75 credit!! Even if the prices collapse after year1 you will still be ~ £200 better off inc. paying the EDF exit fees0
